Employees of the Gazette and their family member, as well as employees and family members of any advertising sponsors are ineligible for prizes. In order to be eligible for prizes, registered brides must attend the 2013 Bridal Show Extravaganza, and their attendance must be validated at both Bridal Show venues (Hall of Springs & the Gideon Putnam)


There will be a total of three (3) winners for the $1,000 Bridal Show Sweepstakes. All prize amounts for this contest will be presented in the form of "$25 Certificates" which will only be valid at businesses who are advertisers in the Gazette's 2013 "I Do" Bridal Guide. A complete list of these participating businesses will be made available to the winners at the time they pick up their prize. All $25 certificates must be spent in full $25 increments, as no change or credit will be issued by the Gazette or any of the participating businesses. All winners in this contest must pick up their prizes at the Gazette's main office, which is located at 2345 Maxon Rd Ext, Schenectady, NY Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 4pm. Upon notification, all winners will be given specific instructions to make arrangements to pick up their prize. There will be a Grand Prize winner of $500 in certificates,a 2nd Prize winner of $300 in certificates, and a 3rd prize winner of $200 in certificates. Eligibility will determined by a panel of Gazette judges, and their decision will be final. The Gazette reserves the right to limit prize winners to a 60 mile radius of its coverage area.
